Cannot edit Diagram from DBDocs in DBDiagram

Hi,
I am having problem accessing my diagram from DBDocs using the Edit button (picture below)

Clicking the button opens “dbdiagram.io - Database Relationship Diagrams Design Tool” which is non-existing diagram.

  • I have tried creating new diagram, publishing it to Docs and the edit attempt ended up the same.
  • When I create new project and enter it, I get the same error page

Disabling VPN did not work unfortunately. Do you know potential cause? I am using latest Firefox on WIndows and Mac.

Hi @Mel,

Have you tried login in dbdiagram using the same email address as the one you used for dbdocs?

Yes, I am using the same email address. I tried logging in through Google and Github but the same error occurs. I think I must have done something wrong when creating my account on either DBDocs or DBDiagram.

I have done it approximately this way:

  1. Create account on DBDiagram using Github
  2. Import diagram
  3. Create account on DBDocs (I think)
  4. Publish to DBDocs (I am not sure if I had an account or it was generated)

Then I tried to edit it and the error occured.

  • The top image is from DBDocs
  • The bottom image is from DBDiagram

I logged through Google on both sites and one DBDocs my email is lowercase and on DBDiagram is uppercase. Is that the problem?

Edit: Now looking at the different profile picture, I think I might have logged on one site through Github and one the other through Google. When I tried logging on both through Github, it still logs into the same accounts.

Hi @Mel,

You’re correct that it is due to the upper casing. We made some internal changes so that our system will now recognize your dbdocs and dbdiagram account as the same one. Please let me know if it works for you.
