Dbdigram.io consume too much RAM usage

Hi, new noobies here. Still haven’t the read doc ‘How to ask a question?’ thingy, so please be patient with me.

I just hope on this app and want to try it. So I just go to dbdiagram.io and click the button to go to the app page. This is what my RAM usage when I first open it

My ram usage is about 2.7 GB, doesn’t look very demanding app, considering I’m also open a YouTube page and draw.io. But it escalated quickly and take too much RAM to run. I test it a few times, so I can be sure this was not a fluke. For the last test, I decided to take a screenshot (can’t upload it because file limit) of my RAM usage, and the result it got to 4.8 GB of RAM usage.

My question is:

  • Is it always like this?
  • Is there any way to prevent this to happen?
  • Should I use a specific browser to run this app?

It turns out, that you have to use Google Chrome to make this app run smoothly.

I don’t know what’s wrong, but it’s probably something to do about JS or CSS.

Thank you for your input.

We’ll look into the performance issues on Firefox and try to improve it in the future.
