It seems dbdocs connects somewhere to validate the documents. When offline I get the following warning.
Warning: connect EHOSTUNREACH 2606:4700:3032::6815:1e20:443 - Local (:::49198)
It can however validate the doc just fine without connecting somewhere.
Today, while on a patchy mobile network going off and on, dbdocs started hanging on validate, no error message, no nothing, it just hung.
Since the connection is obviously not needed, and it can cause the app to hang, I suggest you remove it altogether for local operations.
