My company is looking into using dbdiagram, and I’m trying to work out what plans would work best. The ideal would be to use the Team version, however I’d like some clarification on how that would work. The idea scenario for us would be that a single project could have a workspace restricted to the people on that project, with other projects also having their own workspaces.
If each project would require a separate Team licence, that would make things more complicated for billing purposes, so is it possible with the Team licence to create multiple separate workspaces on the same licence?
With the Team plan, currently, we offer a single workspace per license. Unfortunately, we do not support creating multiple separate workspaces under a single Team license at this time.
However, within that workspace, you can manage projects with different levels of visibility, such as Workspace, Shared, and Private projects.
These settings allow for flexibility in project access among team members.
If you have further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask!
Thank you for getting back to me. So at the moment, it would be diagram-level permissions only, or is there a separate concept of a project? I can’t find anything in the documentation that talks about projects specifically.
Also, I see from the roadmap that Organization workspaces are in beta. Is that something that would help in our specific case? Do you have any more information on that functionality?
