Hello,
We use dbdiagram regularly and I would like to thank you for all the work accomplished.
I would like to submit a feature request: for some time now I have been noticing OTP recovery attempt emails that do not come from our organization. And despite the advantages that dbdiagram provides to our team, exposing our database schemas without two-factor authentication security or through a fixed IP whitelist would force us to switch to another solution.
Would you have a short-term solution, or at least provide some visibility on what will be done regarding this matter in the near future?
Thank you again.
Hi @noelmaHelloCSE ,
I’m Huy Le from the dbdiagram team.
for some time now I have been noticing OTP recovery attempt emails that do not come from our organization.
Could you provide more details? Did your organization receive many unexpected OTP login emails from dbdiagram, or were they from other products?
Regarding protecting diagrams, is current password-protection & private diagrams feature can sovle your problem?
We will consider the two-factor authentication. In the meantime, IP-whitelisting (in roadmap) and SAML SSO (working-on) are features in our custom pricing plan. May I check if these features fit with your security requirements?
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks.
Hi @huyleminh
Fixed IPs or SSO correspond to security requirements. Do you have any idea when they will be made available, and at what price?
Thank you.
Hi @noelmaHelloCSE ,
Thank for your details reply.
We estimate the IP white-listing feature will be available on the first quater of 2026.
About the pricing, please submit the Custom Plan interest form and our team will have a discussion with you.
Thanks.
